What is a Flat Fee MLS Listing?
Most people think they have 2 options to sell their home:
1. List with a traditional Realtor and pay a large commission (sometimes ranging from 5-7%).
2. Try your hand at being a FSBO (For Sale By Owner) and put the little red sign on your front lawn, maybe a listing on a FSBO website and hope for the best.
Flat Fee MLS is the best of both worlds. Gain the exposure of the MLS, a tool only available to licensed real estate agents. But also experience the savings of a FSBO by handling some aspects of the sale yourself. Pay the flat fee to list the home on the MLS. If an agent brings you a buyer, pay them a commission (we recommend 2.5% to 3%, but you decide). If you find a buyer, pay no commission at all.
